Agile wallaby

The agile wallaby is one of the most commonly seen marsupials in the Kimberley, especially near roads, open woodland, and grasslands. It is well adapted to hot climates and often feeds in the early morning or late afternoon.

Wallaroo (Euro)

The wallaroo, also known as the euro, is a stocky kangaroo commonly found in rocky hills, escarpments, and ranges across the Kimberley. It is well adapted to rugged terrain and hot conditions, often sheltering in rocky shade during the day.

Red kangaroo

The red kangaroo is Australia’s largest marsupial and is found in open grasslands and semi-arid areas of the Kimberley. It is well adapted to hot conditions and is most active in the cooler parts of the day, resting in shade during the heat.
